Ms. Kathleen completed her AMI Primary training in 1965, and her AMI Elementary training in 1985. She was trained under Mother Isabel Eugenie, a direct student of Maria Montessori herself. Ms. Kathleen’s original degree is a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. She has taught Montessori in both public and private schools, acted as Administrator of several Montessori schools, and founded a Montessori Charter school in the city of Philadelphia. Ms. Kathleen arrived at Little Flower Montessori School in 2012, to assist Ms. Lisa and Ms. Kim in their leadership vision which include AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) accreditation for Little Flower Montessori School. (AMI was founded in 1929 by Dr. Montessori to maintain and protect the integrity of her educational philosophy).  She enjoys working with and leading students, staff and parents as they discover Montessori philosophy and apply it in their lives. She has spent 50+ years working in the field of Montessori education, with a plethora of professional development experiences too numerous to detail and loves working here!
