Señora Camelia Munoz

Señora Camelia, a native Spanish speaker from Puerto Rico, is always ready with a smile for our Primary East children. Through food, celebration, song and the spoken word the children experience Spanish culture with Señora Camelia. She moved to Fort Lauderdale after receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. A Certified Public Accountant, she eventually got married and stayed home with her young children. Her love for children began when she was young and started tutoring and working at summer camps. It increased when she learned about the Montessori Method. She loves taking care of children and helping in their development. Camelia recently completed a Trillium Montessori Assistant Early Childhood Toolkit course.
