Ms. Mimi Stunson

Ms. Mimi leads our Primary East classroom of three to seven year olds and has been with Little Flower Montessori since 2013. Ms. Mimi received her AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) Primary Diploma and her Master of Education degree in Columbia, Maryland.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Worcester State University in Massachusetts. In addition to her AMI qualifications and numerous Professional Development experiences, Mimi is certified with Kidding Around Yoga to teach children yoga and mindfulness. Prior to joining Little Flower, Ms. Mimi worked as a Primary Assistant and Lead Afternoon teacher at Torit Language Center Montessori School in Massachusetts for 2 years. She worked as the Primary assistant teacher and coordinated and taught an aftercare program that included dance, music and art specials. She was also responsible for researching and organizing school-wide holiday celebrations recognized by a diverse community. Mimi has also worked as an industrial hygienist; head lifeguard, and a basketball and soccer coach.
