Ms. Kim received her AMI Primary diploma in Toronto, Canada in 1997. Her original course work includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She has undertaken a variety of administrative roles throughout the school and has experience as a Lead teacher in both Primary rooms, as well as in the Young Children’s Community. Prior to joining Little Flower Montessori School, in 2005, Kim was a Primary Montessori teacher in Ontario, Canada. In addition, she has her Director’s Credential from the Department of Children and Families and is Bal-A-Vis-x trained. Before entering the Montessori community, Kim’s background included Hospitality Management, as well as various Administrative and Marketing experiences. While she enjoyed these life experiences, she concluded that children were so much more fun to work with! It is her great desire to facilitate an authentic Montessori environment where the child’s inborn sense of wonder is preserved and that promotes a lifelong love of learning.
